For I am a collective.

And you need to know is this is my story.
And it is far from its end...

I will spend my life's blood
Praying for things
I will never see.

I will give my veins
To a soul
That no longer feels.

I will drain the colour from my eyes
To have my dream shared
By the blind.

And I will bring you along
Just to show
I am worth what I say.

Too many nights i believed
Saving you was the answer.
Your gaze never fell to my mind
You had others planned.

I hoped you would save me
In return for all the things I gave.
But saving me was never an option.
I didn't need salvation,
Purely a strong heart.
And the heart of another,
To keep mine red.

Any but yours.

I am bored of this never ending regret.
The line of people who walk
Before they have given me the chance.
Always the lost, never the given.
While I sit here.
Giving all that is me.

You do not know loss more than I.
And the day will come when I,
Will be the one to walk.
The heart will find the courage to.

Maybe running makes all this better,
Easier for you.
Keep replacing the moment
You find something worth holding.
Never give the key
So as to mare your exit valid.
I will beat the next,
Before I give the chance.

We are told from birth there must be two.
To find your one must be your goal.
But the one is misted by those who
Wear the mask of life
And it's lies

What if I am wearing my mask,
When the time comes.
The one shall not see.
And I will be blind.
As the rest are.

To life a life of truth and bare,
Is surely the answer?
Yet the hardest thing of all.
